New Layout!

I don't use this news thing as often as I should. o_o; I'll try to use it a little more often from now on...

Anyway, I put on a new layout for the site! Some of you may recognize it from the Acting Out site on drunkduck.com (http://www.drunkduck.com/acting_out). I changed it because I thought the old layout here was starting to look a little sloppy, and I liked the drunk duck one a LOT more, so I put it on here as well. You'll find more changes as you explore the site as well. :)

If this layout is causing anyone problems, please e-mail me at accasperberry3000@hotmail.com describing the problem you're having.

Also in the past week or so, I've added Acting Out to several webcomic voting sites and directories. You can see which ones if you go to the Affiliates page. It would also be great if you vote for Acting Out on the webcomic voting sites (such as TWC and Webcomics Super 100 List). That would be greatly appreciated. :)

I also added more banners for Acting Out in the affiliates page. You can check those out as well.

That's it for now. :) I'll try to make future posts shorter and more to the point, but for now I just had to get all this news out of the way. Bye! ^_^

Getting Started

Wow! I'm actually getting stuff done a lot faster with this comic than I thought I could. I was able to put together this layout in about...3 hours? And I still have time to spare for working on the characters page (18 characters so far...yeah, it's gonna take a lot of work...). So yeah, I'll get started on that.

My main goal now is to get a comic out ASAP. I want to get the comic out there as quickly as I can so that I can spend most of the summer making comics and advertising the series.

Now to explain this, I came up with the idea a couple of months ago as a hypothetical thought, basically what I WOULD make if I didn't have so many other things to do. Well, I couldn't stop thinking about it, and soon I had so many great ideas that I just couldn't let go to waste. For those of you who haven't read my journals on dA, I'll quote from one to explain the theme of the comic:

Quote:
"It's a gag comic, probably shown on Smackjeeves only (which I would always link to here for those who are interested). It has animal characters (anthropomorphics), and it's basically about a bunch of child actors/actresses in their school's drama club...They basically hang out on set and their auditorium, joking around and getting into shenanigans."

And to further explain why I'm making this, it's going to replacing the AACC Chronicles because I was completely unhappy with the writing. So I apologize to those who were looking forward to reading AACC.

I'll be putting out the first comic soon. In the mean time, keep checking up on this site to see the extras I'll be adding!
